The movie is an adaptation of the play by the same name starring James Stewart, Kim Novak, Jack Lemmon. Stewart played the role of a publicist who fell in love with Novak belong to witchcraft family. Lemmon played the role of Novak’s bro. The Gist of the story is Stewart was unaware about it & taking rational conclusions out of it. The chemistry of Stewart-Novak was sensational in Hitchcock’s Vertigo & it looks hot here. Stewart was best in playing confused characters & made a mark in Hitchcock’s two masterpieces- Vertigo & Rear Window. Novak was really enchantress blonde of the yesteryears.An ordinary classic.
